e-Learning

Aims of e-Learning

  • To enhance learning and teaching effectiveness by integrating quality e-learning resources and interactive approaches.
  • To support both lesson time and extended learning time as highlighted by the EDB, helping students benefit from meaningful learning experiences inside and beyond the classroom.
  • To encourage students to apply IT skills to investigate, present, build and share knowledge, and to foster creativity, collaboration, problem-solving and self-directed learning skills across the curriculum.

Ways to Enhance e-Learning

  • Implementation of a BYOD Programme across all levels, enabling students to bring their own tablets or laptops for daily learning.
  • Active use of e-learning platforms such as Goodnotes Classroom, Google Classroom, Edpuzzle and the Online Question Bank from HKEdCity to support blended learning and flipped classrooms.
  • Professional development for teachers, including workshops and training, to strengthen e-pedagogy and enrich classroom practice.
  • Integration of ICT skills within the junior ICT curriculum to ensure students can use technology effectively, responsibly and creatively.
