History

Cheung Chuk Shan College was founded by a group of philanthropists headed by its former supervisor, the late Mr. Cheung Yok Luen of the Five Districts Business Welfare Association. The Association, set up in Hong Kong in 1921, is a government-approved non profit charitable organization aiming at maintaining the friendship among and supplying aid to people coming from Wuyi - Enping, Kaiping, Xinhui, Taishan and Heshan – as well as providing social welfare services to the public. Apart from carrying out welfare activities and establishing schools in Hong Kong, the Association plays an active role in promoting the development of the aforementioned districts of China.
