Geological Field Trip to High Island Reservoir

Twenty students from S1 to S4 participated in a field trip to High Island Reservoir, arranged by the Geography Panel through the Geopark School Programme of Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark. During the trip, the students explored the fascinating geological features of the area, including hexagonal rock columns, sea caves, and sea stacks, while also learning about Hong Kong's history of drought and water supply. This immersive experience enhanced their understanding of both the region's natural wonders and the importance of water resources.
