CCSC Halloween Special 2022 was held by the English Department on 28 & 31 October for students of all forms to participate in some entertaining and educational English learning activities.
Led by Mr. Howe, our new Native-speaking English Teacher, the energetic English Ambassadors were dressed in Halloween costumes and greeted their fellow schoolmates at the school entrance on the morning of both days.
Students were keen to unleash their talent and passion in oral English and vocabulary at various checkpoints during lunchtime and they were challenged by the thematic tongue twisters. The QR codes led the participants through the games in which they had to identify and recite the 5 to 9-letter words that could be found in the phrase ‘Haunted House’. When the tablet buzzed, the gamers would flee to the final checkpoint for the ultimate Halloween quizzes and, hopefully, the TREATS, including special prizes and photo taking with MR. SCREAM & MR. ALIEN.
