This year, we nominated 4B Cheng Kai Yee Samantha for the award as she has shone herself in indoor rowing. Since she received training two years ago, she has made a great leap forward in her performance. Together with her enthusiasm and superb positive attitude, she has helped to build a good spirit in the school team. Also, her pleasant and optimistic personality has made her a popular and well-liked figure at school.
Samantha has captured many medals in indoor rowing competitions in these two years. Especially, she was the champion in Sports Festival Indoor Rowing Sprint Challenge U16 500m last year and came second this year with her personal best of 3 min 40.4 sec in U18 1000m. Also, she came first in A Grade Girls 1000m in the inter-school competition.
After months of hard work on training and competing, the Girls Basketball Team has achieved encouraging results:
C Grade – Third
B Grade – Fourth
Overall – Fourth

King’s College and our school were invited to participate in a training session with the Dreams Metro Gallery Football Club (DMGFC). The team began to compete in the Hong Kong Premier League in the season of 2015-2016.
Sixteen of our students nominated by four houses arrived at Shek Kip Mei Park football pitch in the afternoon with great elation. They all treasured this precious opportunity to meet the team. They practised the basic football drills prepared for them, in which the professional players demonstrated and taught them how to improve. In order to increase the excitement as well as interaction with students, players of the DMGFC joined in both sides to have a friendly match.
After the training, our students were so privileged to have a sharing by Mr. Kenji Fukuda, the forwarder of the team, who has just competed in his last professional football game in May and will retire after twenty years of professional football life. At the end of this season (2015-2016), Mr. Fukuda has been elected as a member of the Best Eleven Squad and won The Most Popular Player Award. It was a memorable moment that he shared experience of playing football with our students.
This happy occasion ended with a big group photo. Last but not least, we would like to thank Mr. Lo Man Fai (Chairman of the DMGFC), Mr. Chu Wai Lam (Director of the DMGFC), Mr. Leung Chi Wing (Head Coach of the DMGFC) and Miss Christina Fu (our alumnus) for their arrangement.
Fong Sing Yuen and Ng Tze Ching of S5B won the gold medal in the Ensemble Entry with a Zheng Duet of the captioned competition, while Lin Nga Yi of S2B won the gold medal in the Senior Solo (Zheng) Entry.
